Questions.

Resume or CV: what is the difference?

In the US and Canada a resume is a one or two page summary for a job. In the UK, Europe and much of the world, the same document is called a CV. These four templates work for both.

Are these templates ATS-friendly?

Classic and Compact read top to bottom in one main column, which every ATS parses. Executive does too, with a centred header. Modern puts contact details and skills in a side rail, which some ATS read after the main column. Run the ATS resume checker on your file to see what an ATS reads.

Can I download my resume as a PDF?

Yes. Sign up for free, and your first PDF download is free in any of the four templates. More downloads and tailored versions for each job are part of Pro.

Should I use a photo on my CV?

In the US, the UK and Canada, leave the photo out: many employers remove resumes with photos to avoid bias. In parts of Europe, the Middle East and Asia a photo is common. Resume Studio lets you add one when the job market expects it.
