What is the STAR method?
A way to answer "tell me about a time" questions in four parts: the Situation, your Task, the Action you took, and the Result, ideally with a number. The checker marks which parts your answer has.
How do you pick the questions?
The questions for your role come from the skills that its live job postings list most often, and each group shows the share of postings that list the skill. The common questions are the ones interviewers ask for almost any role.
How long should an interview answer be?
About 60 to 90 seconds out loud, which is about 130 to 200 words. The checker estimates the spoken time at 130 words a minute.
Is my answer saved?
No. We check the text and send the report back, and we do not store the answer. The check runs in plain code, not an AI model, so it is free and has no daily limit.
