What is a good ATS score?
The score is out of 100. It is the share of the eight checks on this page that your file passes, so the same file always gets the same score. A score of 75 or more means an ATS can read your resume well. Start with the checks marked Blocking, then the ones marked Fix.
Is this ATS checker free?
Yes. You need no account and no card, and the full report shows on this page. Each check reads your file with an AI model, so we limit guests to 3 checks a day and free accounts to 10.
Can an ATS read a two-column resume?
Many can, but some read the side column after the main one. Then your skills or contact details can land in the wrong field. One column is the safe choice, and the report tells you which layout it found in your file.
Which ATS do you test against?
We do not send your file to a vendor system. The checks follow what every ATS needs to fill its fields: real text, contact details in the body, dated roles in order, a skills section and a layout that reads top to bottom.
How does the job comparison work?
Paste a job description and we split its must-haves from its nice-to-haves, look for each must-have in your resume, and compare any stated pay with the pay employers state for the same role in live postings.
What happens to my file?
We keep the file only to read it and to add it to your account if you sign up. We never sell or share it. If you do not sign up, we delete it after 7 days.
